Welcome! I am Demetrius Duncan, the founder of Pathways Financial and your partner in charting a path to a better financial future.
My career in accounting began at Georgia State University, where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. I returned to Georgia State University in 2017 to further my education and received my Master’s in Public Accountancy in 2018. In 2021, I completed the exam process to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
My experience and training in accounting range from tax preparation for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and LLCs to full-scale accounting, including accounts receivables, accounts payables, payroll, bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting. For over 8 years, I have worked for several corporations with high-profile clients and corporations to bring them the best results to improve profit. I’ve also worked with individuals to improve their financial understanding and personal financial planning.
Navigating business or life with an understanding of accounting and finance can make situations more manageable. My goal is to ease the angst of the general public around these issues through education and partnership with my clients to create a better financial situation for current and future generations.
